The Company has achieved a gratifying performance in the first year of operation (year ending 31st March 1996). Net Sales was Rs.870.24 lacs and income from operations including other income was Rs.556.62 lacs. The Company earned a profit before tax of Rs.133.00 lacs and a net profit of Rs.106.43 lacs. The Company has declared a maiden dividend of 12% for the year. The EPS for the year 1995 - 96 works out to 3.45 and the paid up equity share capital of the Company is Rs.360.00 lacs with the Reserves standing at Rs.74.00 lacs.
